There are two types of kickboxing classes available at WNY MMA, while one is a popular self-defense technique, cardio kickboxing or aerobic kickboxing teaches the fundamentals of kickboxing while providing an intense workout. Participants will learn the proper punching and kicking techniques that are used in kickboxing and will use these techniques in a variety of ways.
During each class you can expect to make use of conventional heavy bags as well as training pads, free weights and the natural resistance provided by your own body weight. Exercises range from targeting upper body, lower body and core—so each class provides a true total body workout through both resistance training and cardiovascular exercise.
